HOUSTON TEXANS 19, CHICAGO BEARS 13
Texans CB Kamari Lassiter
The 42nd overall selection in the 2024 NFL Draft had an impressive outing for the Texans in their Sunday Night Football win over the Bears. Lassiter was targeted eight times but allowed just two receptions for 20 yards and came away with an interception. He also made three tackles resulting in a defensive stop in coverage and had another interception nullified by penalty.

KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 26, CINCINNATI BENGALS 25
Chiefs T Kingsley Suamataia
If there is one concern about the Chiefs’ offense — apart from the recently reported injury to running back Isiah Pacheco — it’s at the left tackle spot. Second-round rookie Kingsley Suamataia was benched late in Kansas City’s come-from-behind win over the Bengals, and he finished the game with just a 26.4 PFF pass-blocking grade after allowing four total pressures from 31 pass-blocking snaps.

PITTSBURGH STEELERS 13, DENVER BRONCOS 6
Steelers T Broderick Jones and T Troy Fautanu
The Steelers started the game by rotating their two most recent first-round draft picks at right tackle. But midway through the second quarter, they made the switch to Fautanu full-time. Jones finished the game with a 35.1 PFF overall grade, while Fautanu came in at 65.4.

ARIZONA CARDINALS 41, LOS ANGELES RAMS 10
Cardinals WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
Concerns about the Cardinals’ first-round draft pick after last week appear to have been premature. The first receiver selected in the 2024 NFL Draft averaged 5.42 yards per route run in his second NFL game, with all four of his receptions going for either a first down or a touchdown.

WASHINGTON COMMANDERS 21, NEW YORK GIANTS 18
Giants WR Malik Nabers
Nabers saw a target on 63.0% of his receiving snaps in the Giants’ loss to the Commanders in Week 2, and he finished the game with an 87.2 PFF receiving grade. Nabers came away with 10 receptions from 17 targets for 127 yards and a touchdown, averaging 4.70 yards per route run.

NEW YORK JETS 24, TENNESSEE TITANS 17
Jets T Tyron Smith
After allowing four total pressures, all of which were quarterback hurries, in Week 1 against the 49ers, Smith didn’t let up a single pressure in the Jets’ Week 2 win over the Titans. He was defeated on only two snaps in pass protection, with neither resulting in pressure, and finished the game with a 76.6 PFF pass-blocking grade. Through two weeks, Smith has yet to allow a knockdown on quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS 23, NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS 20
Seahawks WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba
Smith-Njigba had a huge game out of the slot in the Seahawks’ overtime win over the Patriots. The 2023 first-rounder saw a target on 14 of his 35 snaps out of the slot and generated 2.74 yards per route run when lined up inside.

MINNESOTA VIKINGS 23, SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS 17
49ers LB Fred Warner
It came in a losing effort, but 49ers linebacker Fred Warner was dominant once again. He finished Week 2 with five tackles resulting in a defensive stop against the run, another in the passing game, an interception, a sack and a pair of forced fumbles.

CLEVELAND BROWNS 18, JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 13
Browns EDGE Myles Garrett
Garrett wasn’t quite as dominant as we’ve come to expect from a volume perspective, with an 18.8% pass-rush win rate in the Browns’ win over the Jaguars. He did force a fumble on a sack, though, finishing the game with an 89.8 PFF pass-rushing grade.

GREEN BAY PACKERS 16, INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 10
Colts QB Anthony Richardson
Richardson had another uneven day as a passer in Week 2, but there was more bad than good as the Colts dropped to 0-2. He finished the game 17-for-34 for 204 yards with a turnover-worthy play on 10.8% of his dropbacks.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS 20, DETROIT LIONS 16
Buccaneers WR Chris Godwin
The Buccaneers’ offense didn’t exactly set the world alight in a Week 2 win over the Lions, but Godwin certainly dominated out of the slot. He racked up 116 of his 117 yards in the game from the slot, averaging 6.44 yards per route run when lined up inside.

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS 44, DALLAS COWBOYS 19
Saints QB Derek Carr
The Derek Carr resurgence continues to propel the Saints, and new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak’s desire to utilize play action is yielding fantastic results. New Orleans used play action on 12 of Carr’s 18 dropbacks in Week 2, with Carr going 7-for-11 for 205 yards, two touchdowns and an interception on those plays.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS 26, CAROLINA PANTHERS 3
Panthers QB Bryce Young
There was hope coming into this season that new head coach Dave Canales could help turn around the fortunes of former No. 1 overall draft pick Bryce Young. If that’s going to happen, we haven’t seen the signs of it yet. Young earned a sub-40.0 PFF grade for the second straight week and had an average depth of target of just 2.9 yards in the Panthers’ loss to the Chargers.

LAS VEGAS RAIDERS 26, BALTIMORE RAVENS 23
Ravens G Andrew Vorhees and G Daniel Faalele
The Ravens’ biggest preseason concern has manifested in the regular season. In the team’s Week 2 loss to the Raiders, left guard Andrew Vorhees earned a 49.0 PFF overall grade and right guard Daniel Faalele came in at 53.3, with both struggling in protection. Voorhees earned a 43.1 PFF pass-blocking grade, and Faalele posted a 58.5 mark.

BUFFALO BILLS 31, MIAMI DOLPHINS 10
Bills CB Christian Benford
After an impressive Week 1 showing, Benford delivered again in the Bills’ win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 2. He faced nine targets in coverage and allowed just four receptions for 25 yards. He also came away with an interception, helping him earn an 80.3 PFF coverage grade.
