KANSAS CITY CHIEFS 26, CINCINNATI BENGALS 25

Chiefs T Kingsley Suamataia

If there is one concern about the Chiefs’ offense — apart from the recently reported injury to running back Isiah Pacheco — it’s at the left tackle spot. Second-round rookie Kingsley Suamataia was benched late in Kansas City’s come-from-behind win over the Bengals, and he finished the game with just a 26.4 PFF pass-blocking grade after allowing four total pressures from 31 pass-blocking snaps.

Concerns about the Cardinals’ first-round draft pick after last week appear to have been premature. The first receiver selected in the 2024 NFL Draft averaged 5.42 yards per route run in his second NFL game, with all four of his receptions going for either a first down or a touchdown.

NEW YORK JETS 24, TENNESSEE TITANS 17

Jets T Tyron Smith

After allowing four total pressures, all of which were quarterback hurries, in Week 1 against the 49ers, Smith didn’t let up a single pressure in the Jets’ Week 2 win over the Titans. He was defeated on only two snaps in pass protection, with neither resulting in pressure, and finished the game with a 76.6 PFF pass-blocking grade. Through two weeks, Smith has yet to allow a knockdown on quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

LOS ANGELES CHARGERS 26, CAROLINA PANTHERS 3

Panthers QB Bryce Young

There was hope coming into this season that new head coach Dave Canales could help turn around the fortunes of former No. 1 overall draft pick Bryce Young. If that’s going to happen, we haven’t seen the signs of it yet. Young earned a sub-40.0 PFF grade for the second straight week and had an average depth of target of just 2.9 yards in the Panthers’ loss to the Chargers.
