The Kansas City Chiefs stunned the Baltimore Ravens 17-10 to earn their second consecutive Super Bowl berth.
Rashee Rice came down with two catches of 10 or more yards and moved the chains three times. He forced two missed tackles, gained 20 yards after contact and averaged 5.4 yards after the catch per reception. It was his second game this postseason with at least nine targets and eight catches.

Zay Flowers had an eventful afternoon. His first catch of the day resulted in a 30-yard touchdown late in the first quarter, where quarterback Lamar Jackson broke a sack and bought just enough time for Flowers to break upfield into wide-open space for the score. Late in the third quarter, down 7, Flowers secured a 54-yard catch that would have placed Baltimore at Kansas City’s 10-yard line had he not drawn a penalty for taunting.
His final and most pivotal catch came four plays later. Baltimore had moved within the 10-yard line and was facing second-and-goal. Flowers secured the ball on a crossing route, dashed towards the goal line and dove for the score, only for L’Jarius Sneed to punch the ball out for a touchback.
Despite his errors, Flowers was by far Baltimore’s best offensive weapon, and his 153.3 passer rating when targeted led all receivers in the championship round.
Detroit Lions @ San Francisco 49ers

The Lions looked well on their way to their first-ever Super Bowl appearance after taking a commanding 24-7 halftime lead over the San Francisco 49ers. However, a 27-7 second-half counter by the 49ers would crush that dream.
Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta combined for 16 catches for 184 yards. St. Brown tallied five catches for 73 yards in the first half alone, finishing the afternoon with six first downs and four catches of 10-plus yards. Most of his work came on third downs, where he caught five passes for 63 yards.
San Francisco 49ers: Deebo Samuel (85.1)

Deebo Samuel returned to the field after being knocked out of the divisional round with a shoulder injury. He got off to a slow start in the first half, recording two first-quarter catches for 21 yards. He caught fire in the second half, though, catching six passes for 68 yards.
Samuel caught a pass between four defenders for a 26-yard gain early in the third quarter and produced a 17-yard gain midway through the period. He tallied three catches of 15-plus yards on the afternoon, forced six missed tackles and averaged 2.54 yards per route run.
