2024 NFL Mock Drafts: All of PFF’s mock drafts in one place | NFL Draft

This page will be a home base for PFF’s 2024 NFL mock drafts, which include analysis of individual draft prospects, trade scenarios and NFL team needs.

While the draft order and team needs may change between now and April 2024, past mock drafts are a good barometer of the sentiments around certain draft prospects. Has their stock risen over the season? Has it fallen due to underwhelming testing numbers? Will someone take off out of nowhere at the last minute in the same way Travon Walker did in 2022?

2024 NFL Mock Draft: Cardinals stay put to select Marvin Harrison Jr., offensive tackles fly off the board

Publish date: March 25, 2024

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

After months of rampant speculation about whether the Bears would trade down and build around Justin Fields or trade down to No. 2 with the Washington Commanders because Williams may want to return home to play for Kliff Kingsbury, it’s starting to appear that was all noise.

Three-Round 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Vikings trade up for QB J.J. McCarthy

Publish date: March 18, 2024

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

Williams was always the choice, and now that Justin Fields is a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers, we can write this one in pen.

Pre-Free Agency 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Jayden Daniels heads to the Commanders

Publish date: March 11, 2024

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

The Bears should still do their due diligence before locking in this pick, but all indications are that Williams will be the team’s next quarterback. Working in Williams’ favor is that he led the nation with a 94.3 clean-pocket grade in 2023, one of the more stable predictors of future performance.

Post-Combine 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Chicago Bears land Caleb Williams and Brock Bowers, Patriots get their QB of the future

Publish date: March 4, 2024

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

The Bears reset at the quarterback position with one of the top prospects of the past few years. Williams earned PFF grades of 90.0 or better in each of the past three seasons and recorded a 6.2% big-time throw rate over his college career.

Post-Super Bowl 2024 NFL Mock Draft: Five quarterbacks go in the first round, Denver Broncos trade up to No. 2 for Drake Maye

Publish date: Feb. 11, 2024

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

In my best cologne commercial voice: Simple. Elegant. Iconic… Caleb Williams to Chicago.

Justin Fields may be trending in the right direction, but sticking with him and hoping that he can become a franchise-caliber quarterback is risky. That risk is there with Williams, too, but the USC product will come with a new five-year rookie contract window and a talent ceiling to be an All-Pro.

2024 NFL Mock Draft 4.0: Bears reset at QB with USC’s Caleb Williams, Patriots land LSU’s Jayden Daniels

Publish date: Jan. 8, 2024

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

Quarterback Justin Fields is playing some of the best ball of his NFL career. Perhaps that sways the Bears to trade the top pick for the second year in a row and acquire even more premium selections. Ultimately, I think they will reset their rookie quarterback contract window and trade Fields for a nice return. This draft process will be fascinating when it comes to the quarterback debate, but I still say Williams is the top prospect.

2024 NFL Mock Draft 3.0: Four QBs go in the first round, including Caleb Williams to the Bears and Drake Maye to the Patriots

Publish date: Dec. 4, 2023

1. CHICAGO BEARS (VIA CAR): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

The Bears can reset their quarterback contract window here, and they should do so. Williams has recorded elite offensive grades in each of his three seasons of college football. This season is his lowest (90.3) due to the highest turnover-worthy play rate of his career (3.5%). He is capable of magical high-end plays, but there is no doubt he has to play more on schedule and in structure, on top of improving his ball security, to be able to showcase those out-of-structure plays in the NFL.

2024 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: New York Giants trade up, select USC’s Caleb Williams at No. 1 overall

Publish date: Nov. 6, 2023

1. *TRADE* NEW YORK GIANTS (VIA ARZ): QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

With Daniel Jones struggling when healthy and now potentially out for the year with a knee injury, the Giants will likely finish within striking distance of Caleb Williams and Drake Maye. Here, they get aggressive to ensure this season is a fluke and not the start of a trend.

Williams struggled mightily during the middle part of the college football season, making zero big-time throws and six turnover-worthy plays in three games (Colorado, Arizona and Notre Dame). However, he has since bounced back with 11 big-time throws and just three turnover-worthy plays in his past three outings (Utah, Cal and Washington). He is still the high-ceiling prospect who does things few other quarterbacks can do, one who is worthy of the No. 1 pick.

2024 NFL Mock Draft 1.0: Bears’ rebuild commences with Caleb Williams, Marvin Harrison Jr.

Publish date: Oct. 2, 2023

1. CHICAGO BEARS: QB CALEB WILLIAMS, USC

If the Bears are picking at No. 1, the top quarterback prospect will land in Chicago. Williams has earned elite grades of 91.3, 91.8 and 90.8 in each of his three college football seasons. The Bears won’t pass on picking at the top again.
